NOVA Guitar Academy is a place where talent develops and individual creativity flourishes.
At the Academy, we encourage students of all ages and levels to explore their passion for music and work closely with each of them to reach their full potential. Through teaching music notation, music theory and various guitar techniques, step by step, we aim to build a well-rounded musical journey for our students. After reaching a certain level, students will be offered to participate in a stage performance.
NOVA Guitar Academy was founded by Guitarist and composer Alexander Rani. As a professional classical and flamenco player, his passion for guitar, along with his unique style of instructing for over twenty years, had him named named by a U.S official entity in 2014 as a “person with extraordinary abilities” as he is among the “small percentage of people who has risen to the very top of his field.” Based on that, he was granted citizenship in the United States.
Rani has completed his advanced studies in Spanish Guitar at Taller Flamenco Seville, under the supervision of the Guitarists Manuel Berraquero, Michele Laccarino and Israel Martin in Seville, Spain. He has also completed a certificate of advanced Flamenco at the Spanish Flamenco Guitar Society in Madrid.
Rani has been featured by different newspapers internationally and has participated as a judge in music competitions. He has composed multiple music pieces of different styles as part of his album. He has been a lead performer on major stages and has organized concerts for his students as ensemble and solo performances.
